The Alexander McQueen fashion house must be on cloud nine. Not only did Kate Middleton's dress look amazing- thanks to Sara Burton and the rest of the McQueen team but tonight Alexander's collections will not be forgotten and will be celebrated at the Met Costume Institute Gala. "Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty" will be exhibiting McQueens best runway fashion moments and will walk you through his creations throughout his years as an exquisite designer. It will be open to the public on Wednesday.
The exhibit is absolutely breathtaking, when I walked in I seriously gasped. I honestly don't know where to begin...Alexander McQueen's talent is something you don't see everyday. His use of fabric and material is extraordinary. Walking through the exhibition you see an artist not just a designer. With every collection Alexander McQueen was telling a story and he wasn't afraid of taking a risk.
