Red Farm: west village dining
Last night by friends and family invite only we dined at Red Farm, the new dim-sum restaurant from the Chinatown Brasserie's A-team. The deliciousness behind this restaurant is Joe Ng chef of Chinatown Brasserie, restauranteur Jeffery Chodorow (who is probably one of the nicest men I've met) and Asian cuisine expert Ed schoenfeld.
The restaurant is designed to look like a farm house with be
nch seatings and communal table the environment is very
welcoming. The ambiance is farm where as the food takes
you to a whole other world of Asian cuisine.
We tasted the entire menu, arriving starving to the restaurant we left pleased, happy, and pleasantly full!
My favorite dishes are:
small bites|appetizers:
Shu Mai shooters
Kumamoto Oysters
Kowloon Filet Mignon
BBQ pork belly
Yuzu--wasabi shrimp
pac man shrimp dumplings
Main Course:
Marinated rib steak, bok choy (amazing! and the sesame seeds great little addition)
Open to the public next week I highly recommend this restaurant for those who want to explore their Asian cuisine.
